Harrietsham Veterinary Clinic is a veterinary surgery offering medicine, surgery and orthopaedics, and it lists care for dogs, cats and a range of smaller/exotic pets (including ferrets and parrots). The website advertises a “modern, well-equipped” practice and a specific microchipping offer (£9.99 for kittens/puppies under 6 months).
From the latest reviews available to us, owners often mention being seen quickly for urgent issues (including an early-morning emergency that was seen within about 30 minutes, and same-day appointments). Reviews also point to a notable interest in ferret care (one reviewer specifically recommends “Rachel” for ferrets). Feedback is mixed on cost and clinical decision-making: some praise the practice for being upfront/reasonable about costs, while others describe a quoted X‑ray price rising substantially on the day and feeling pushed towards a monthly subscription.
Google rating: 4.6 stars from 135 reviews. The - Fast access to appointments for urgent problems: examples include an emergency presentation at 8am being seen by 8:30, and other mentions of same-day appointments and short waits.

Lovely veterinary practice. I had to change my vets because of indifference to my worries. Harrietsham were kind, caring of my worries and gave great advice.

Moved to the area 3 months ago. Needed a vet for our Jack Russell(Milo) for an emergency at 8am today. Was seen by a vet at 8:30. Cant ask for a better service, was lovely and caring. Thank you so much.

Would not trust anyone else with my animals. Anyone looking for a ferret vet look no further than Rachel. Or other guys for that matter.

For almost 7 years we have had no issues with them. However, recently our dog was seen by a Spanish guy who was absolutely incompetent. My dog was very poorly. The man touched his tummy and said that he was in pain. He gave him and injection of something and that was it. The next day our dog was even worse. We went elsewhere and was to that his gallbladder had to be removed! He has had his surgery now and is recovering. We will no longer subscribe to them!

Absolutely disgusted with my experience. Quoted for an x ray. On the day I turned up for the x ray the price almost doubled. Went to another vet and it turned out an x ray wasn’t even necessary. The medications they sell were extortionate it’s much cheaper to ask for a subscription then buy from an online pharmacy. The staff weren’t very friendly and they seemed more concerned about signing me up to a monthly subscription with them than my pet’s health. After research this is part of a chain of vets- it’s all about £££. Independent vets much better, worth the travel. I recommend this place is avoided.

Got the same day appointment which was fantastic. Pleasant ,clean practice. I didn’t have to wait long to be helped. Consultation was a little short to what I’m used to but my pet has fully recovered with the medication given so I am well pleased.

Fantastic vets with lovely, genuine, caring members of staff who go above and beyond for their loyal clients! Unfortunately veterinary treatment anywhere is expensive, but Harrietsham are very reasonable & they are always upfront about their costs. This practice is brilliant & I wouldn't use anywhere else - Rachel & Meg thankyou so much for all your help with my dog Bruno
